🤔 Is India Worth Exploring?

(the answers I found out)

Hey explorer,

I have a confession to make -

My friends and I were planning a trip this month. The situation was going as smoothly as butter until we started talking about the destination.

My friends wanted to explore India, while I highlighted the foreign sites because of the places we could see that we do not have in India.

However, I never thought this conversation between us could change my perspective. One of my friends, irritated, explained the worth of exploring India

So, read attentively, as I will share something that could change your perspective about exploring India as well.

Pack your bags, buckle your seatbelt, and get ready for an adventure!

1. Vibrant Culture

You all have heard the word diversity, but did you ever see it in real time? You better start exploring the four corners of India.

With 7 prominent religions and 120 different languages, every corner of India comes packed with some form of entertainment that will not only entertain you but also show the history dating back to AD.

From the small Hindu festival of Guru Purnima to the major Islam festival of Ramadan, India is the place where everything runs smoothly, uniting people from all corners and showing the "diversity" moment

Can you find another place like India in a world where people use one language, follow one religion, and have cultural differences?

2. Nature's Beauty

A sunny afternoon in the southern hill station, Ooty.

Most people visit Switzerland to enjoy outdoor activities, Bali to feel nature, Malaysia to enjoy hill stations, and more.

Did you know that there are places like Jammu and Kashmir, Kerala, and Darjeeling that give you the same feelings as those foreign places do?

From the towering Himalayas, the world's highest mountain range, to the lush tropical rainforests of the Western Ghats, India's landscape is a kaleidoscope of natural wonders. India's geography is as diverse as its culture.

The peaceful backwaters of Kerala, the vast Thar Desert, and the pristine beaches of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands give you experiences and memories that could last your lifetime.

There is an Indian place for every foreign site you like. The best part is that you can enjoy all of them at half the price you would pay for your foreign trip.

3. Captivating Sights

The iconic Red Fort monument in Delhi, India

From the peaceful nature of Japan to the burning temperature of the Sahara desert and the skyscrapers of Dubai to the Hollywood of Los Angeles. Wow, don't you say?

Did you know that similar attractions exist in India as well and often boast about certain monuments that represent India worldwide? India is home to some of the world's most iconic landmarks, each with its own unique story to tell

The Taj Mahal from Agra tells about love, the Red Fort from Delhi tells about the Mughal era, while the Charminar from Hyderabad tells about the Qutb Shahi dynasty.

Several such places exhibit the great history of India to the world. People are not only attracted to the history behind these beautiful constructions but also wonder at the design and architecture of these monuments.

Every corner of India holds its own story, so your visit to one of these places will not just be entertaining but also more educating.

4. A Hidden Gem

Have you ever wondered what other places you could visit in India if you were to enjoy nature? No, it is not about Kerala or Tamil Nadu, where eastern and western ghats pass through. It is about the Northeast India

One of the most overlooked places by travellers and tourists in India is the Northeast side of the country, where there is a treasure of unexplored beauty and rich tribal cultures.

The tall and peaceful hills of Meghalaya, the lush green rainforests of Arunachal Pradesh, and the vibrant festivals of Nagaland take you to another world in India.

It is a place where you can feel the Amazon rain forest, Bali, and several other popular tourist spots worldwide.

5. Feast for Taste Buds

Shooting in the market early in the morning is always such a great way to know a city . This has been taken in Thiruvananthapuram vegetable market. These are onion fritters being fried in the hot oil. All photographs remind you of the moment of capture and this is so evocative of the sights, sounds and smells of the market.

The best thing you could ever do when on a trip or tour is to taste the local food. While bread, pizza, and burgers are the same in those countries, India offers a variety of food you can never escape from falling in love with.

From eating as simple as veg rice to tasting the most expensive seafood, Indian cuisine is a symphony of flavours, spices, and aromas. Every place you travel to will have a popular local dish waiting for you.

Idli and dosa in Chennai to chole bhature in Delhi and lal maas in Rajasthan to jadoh in Meghalaya, each region boasts its culinary traditions, reflecting the diversity of India.

Travel anywhere, and you have more food to try to enjoy the local flavours. What makes it even more entertaining is that you can try all the local food items on the street food court for less than 300 INR, which is impossible in foreign countries.

Conclusion

India is a land of contrasts. It is a place where ancient traditions coexist with modern life, where bustling cities give way to quiet landscapes, and where people celebrate diversity in all its forms. India is a place that challenges your senses, broadens your horizons, and leaves you with memories that will last a lifetime.

So, pack your bags, enjoy the unknown, and get on a journey to explore the diversity of India. Let the vibrant colours, the rich aromas, and the warm smiles of the people guide you through a land of endless possibilities.
